About me
I was born in the North East and after a brief 10 years of growing up on Merseyside, I moved back in 1999 to study at Newcastle University. I moved to London to study Science Communication at Imperial College in 2008 and was awarded my MSc in 2009.
Career
After graduating I've done a variety of Education/ Science Communication jobs. I love promoting and communicating science and look forward to being able develop this further.
I've also loved working as a tutor/advisor. It is a privilege to be able to make a genuine difference in the lives of young people, not just on an academic level but holistically, moving them on in different areas of their lives, equipping and empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Faith
I am a committed Christian and my faith underpins everything that I do. I was a member of International Harvest Church for 6 years, involved with the UNLIMITED youth and also led a small group (cell) of students and young professionals. Since moving, I have attended Christ Church London.
